Here's a panoramic view of the kiting area showing the inner lagoon, deep water channel and far reef - It's huge! Please note kiting is not permitted in the swimming zone over on the right of the inner lagoon. You'll find a line of red marker buoys along the limit of the kiting zone in the lagoon. Kitepeople is a kitesurfstation located directly on the beach of the Moevenpick Resort El Gouna. The rooms of Cluster 1 & 2 are directly behind / beside our station, so make sure you mention this to your Touroperator when you book the hotel, then you are able to see the spot from you balcony or terrace!

Our lagoon is a shallow water area form ankle to hip deep water, depending on the Tides. ind is dominantly side-shore from the north.

The first part of the lagoon is a big sandy area for students and beginners. At the border to the deep water there is a coral reef that makes the water in the lagoon nice and flat and keeps the chop away.

Advanced rider with their own equipment can ride in the deep water, approximately starting 400 m after the beach. In the deep water our rescue boat is taking care if you have a problem.

The specialness of our is the second sandbank which you can reach within 2 minutes just riding straight out. On this bank you can find big areas with beautiful coloured corals, stones and also big sandy parts with shallow water, this is a great way of exploring the red sea with your kite.
